What safe guards do you have in place to keep the children….

We follow Safe Sanctuary Policy.  This is a very strict safe guard policy that is in place for all of our children’s ministries.  For a detailed description, please see the Safe Sanctuaries Policies link on this Web site.

What is the dress code for your services?

We are a come-as-you-are church.  We believe that God is pleased when we worship, and that He is not all that concerned with how we look.

What kind of music do you use?

Our worship is blended.  We believe that hymns and praise songs are important.  Every now and then you might even hear something from the Beatles.

I really don’t need God right now…

Our role as a church is to offer Christ in any way that we can.  Our primary purpose is to teach His Word and serve in His name.  When possible that means that we offer financial assistance and help with job searches.  Obviously, that is very limited because of the enormous needs in our community.  Our hope is that you would concede the fact that you do need God and when you allow Him into your life, you find that He brings power and help in ways you could never have imagined.

Does your church welcome other races, or even mixed race families?

We are a multicultural church. We believe that all races are equal and that all of us are called to worship the same God.

I can’t afford to come to church.  Can I pay my offering in installments?

What you give is between you and God.  How you give is between you and God.  We teach that the Biblical principle is that Christians give 10% of their income as a tithe.  This is not a legalistic dictate; it is just what is best for us.  Again, that is between you and your relationship with God.

I was a member of another denomination. Can I…

Everyone is welcome at New Beginnings whether you are here to stay or just to check us out.  Some people just need a different place to be for a while.  We are here to offer God’s Word and serve you in any shape that may take.
