The mission of the New Beginnings United Methodist Men’s group is to provide a place where all men feel accepted and loved just as we are, while encouraging one another as Christ works in each of our lives.

They meet monthly for fellowship, Bible study and topical discussions.  The lessons presented and topics discussed emphasize men’s relationship with God, their families and their friends.

In addition to their monthly meetings, the group regularly gets together for sport and recreation activities such as softball, camping and shooting.  This year, the group will have a weekend camping trip and has its softball team will be playing in the Kenworth Park church league this spring.

Open to all adult men, single or married, the group is very diverse, comprised of men of differing age groups, careers, educational level, marital status and nationality.  Despite the difference, the men have one common bond – that is, as iron sharpens iron, to build each other up as brothers in Christ; through this bond, to help each member see that God can use them just the way they are.
